Greg had applied for a job in Pocatello and interviewed for it a few weeks ago. It was a federal probation job that if we had been offered the position would be too good to pass up. Yesterday we found out that they went with a different candidate. I am happy that we don't have to make the decision of whether to take it or not and to have to sell our house in the next month. We were both kind of relieved that we didn't get it. It was kind of funny. You want the right thing to happen but you're not sure what that is. So it's nice not to have to make a decision like that right now.
I didn't get the job at the rec center either...I figured they would go with someone who had some experience. It's always hard though when you get turned down not to take it personally.

Christmas is coming
I can't believe how fast Christmas is coming up! It will be here before I know it. I love Christmas I think it is the greatest holiday. We went shopping on Friday and got most everything checked off our list. I am so excited to give Reagan her Christmas presents. I think she will be so excited. She is at the perfect age...doesn't really know it's coming but will be happy the day of and not ungrateful and greedy like some kids.
On another note, a lady in our ward answered her cell phone during the opening prayer today...nice huh?

Fall Fun Times
When I was growing up my dad made us yardwork every Saturday. I hated it sooo bad I can't even express how much I hated it. Now we have a yard of our own and there are piles and piles of leaves outside. I started to rake them with Reagan today and realized I still hate yardwork. So now I have a half finished job and I'm hoping Greg will come home and finish it.

Dream job
Well, maybe not a dream job, but it sounds fun. I interviewed at the Bountiful Rec center today for a personal trainer job. I applied months ago, before I had my certification and never got a call. Now months later, they call for an interview. I am so excited because it is basically a very flexible job where I could pick my hours and I get at least $22/hour! I don't have to find my own clients and I get a free pass to the rec center. Which has a pool, ice skating rink, workout room, aerobics classes etc. I'm hoping they hire me! I could also take advantage of the day care for Reagan, I would get it for only $1/hour. I find out at the end of next week. Cross your fingers for me!

Halloween Fun Times
Halloween is the greatest holiday. I loved it as a kid and I love it as an adult. Now that Reagan can really get into trick or treating it is even more fun. Reagan was the most perfect child last night. I was so nervous she wouldn't want to wear her costume, but she kept it on the whole night...even the hood. We first went to our ward's trunk or treat and then to the neighborhood. We have so much candy...I'm not sure what to do with it all! I tried to teach Reagan about saying "trick or treat." She wouldn't do it. She would just reach out her hand and they would give her candy. Finally the last 2 houses she said it. It was so cute. She didn't have a nap yesterday and held up all night so well. No meltdowns or tantrums. She just liked to get the candy.

Happy Anniversary!
Tomorrow is our 7 year anniversary. It is hard to believe that it has been 7 whole years. Yesterday, Greg's mom took Reagan for the entire day/night. It was a most beautiful experience. We were able to go running together, go to the temple, go shopping at several different places, go out to dinner, go grocery shopping, and go out to dessert. It is amazing how much you can get done without a 2 year old tagging along. It was nice to be together and take time off work. It is hard once you have kids to really take time for each other and for dates. As we thought about our wedding ceremony 7 years ago, we both couldn't remember a thing that the sealer told us...except that we were to look at him and not at each other. We both remember it being really cold (unlike yesterday which was in the 60's)...and a few other random memories. Anyway, we are proud of ourselves to make it to where we are today. Happy anniversary!

The Phantom strikes...again...and again
Okay, so many of you are probably familiar with the little phantom ghost that comes around Halloween time and leaves a treat at the door. You are supposed to put the ghost up in your window so that people know you have already got the phantom. Well we got some yummy treats a few nights ago. Reagan took a look at the phantom and thought it was a snowman and she wanted to color it. So I let her color it and then I tried to put it up in the window. She was so mad and she didn't want it up there, she wanted to hold it. So anyway, we got treats again the 2nd night! This time I figured we really ought to put the phantom up in the window so we don't get it again. I put it up, then the next morning lo and behold I find some treats on our doorstep AGAIN! It was so funny. We got the Phantom 3 times!!! I guess that means we are supposed to give it to 9 people. However, I still have only given it to 3 total.

The Office
Did anyone watch The Office on Thursday? My favorite part was when they were talking about when it is correct to use whoever and whomever. The comment Kelly said that Ryan used her as an object was the best! She is so funny to me.

Buckeyes
This year seems especially weird in football. All the #1 teams keep losing and OSU has somehow come out on top. Now they are ranked #1. Like Greg said, I'm not sure that I want them to be ranked #1 because then they are more susceptible to lose. Well, I guess we'll be happy while it lasts and hope that they keep winning. It's unbelievable how well they have done since they have lost so many players this year. This time of year Greg seems so content on Saturdays to curl up on the couch and watch football for hours at a time. It's like Christmas morning for him every Saturday.
Diaper
All Reagan wants to do lately is take off her diaper. Every time we get her out of her crib in the morning or after a nap she is completely naked. Also, when I'm in the other room she'll do it also. It is getting quite annoying. I started to use packaging tape to tape her diaper on. That worked for a day and then she figured out how to get that off too! Any suggestions on what to do?

Reagan teaching Alicia about letters
My sister and her husband, Alicia and Ryan, came and visited this weekend and it was super fun. Reagan loves to talk about letters, point them out, etc. She is pretty smart, if I do say so myself.

Finally, we have a blog
Okay I've given in to the blogging world and created a blog for our family. I figured since all of my friends have one I better create one too. I figured this would be a great place to journal what is going on in our family and post cute things about Reagan.
