Bargains

Today was a good DI day. I went with no intention...just to see if there was anything intersting. Well I ended up getting 2 Winnie the Pooh videos, and Old Testament story book, a cute purple life jacket for Reagan (to take to SC), a photo album (so I finish putting all of Reagan's pictures into a book before the new baby comes), and a new journal for myself (the last one has taken me 3 years to fill). All of this for only $7.50. I'm such a bargain shopper I love it!

One week down

Greg has been gone for one week. It has been kind of weird. I am fine during the day but it's weird not to have him come home for dinner or help put Reagan to bed or watch AI with. He says that the training has been great and that the food is really good. So that is good. He might not want to come home! Reagan fell off the slide and had an ear infection but other than that she has been a really good girl. I think that I am definitely being blessed and having prayers said in my behalf. I feel a sense of strength, patience, and peace beyond my own faith and prayers. That is a great feeling. I'm excited because this week my parents are coming to visit and then at the end of next week we go and visit Greg. Then it's time to focus and get ready for this baby! I only have 6 weeks left...it has gone by so fast!

Birthday and Depression

For my birthday Greg and I got a babysitter and went out to dinner and then to the Jazz game which was fun because they won and closed out the series against Houston. It is always great to get a babysitter and actually go out and do something! As annoying as it is to try and plan ahead and find someone to watch Reagan it is always worth it and so refreshing.
Today was an especially weird, depressing day. Reagan and I dropped Greg off at the airport bright and early. Just knowing he is so far away is so depressing. He will be gone for 40 days. Reagan and I will be visiting him for a week or so over Memorial Day weekend...so that helps break things up. Greg and I have really never been apart. The longest time has been the 2 days when we moved back from Ohio and he drove and I flew with Reagan. We have been married 7 1/2 years! That is pretty amazing. Luckily, I have great neighbors and they all have offered to help me with anything I need. I asked Reagan where dad was tonight and she said "at work" then she said "at carolina beach." I told her we can go to the beach in a few weeks. I think she will love it since she loves playing in the sand.
