Day 3: A Light at the End of the Tunnel

Last night I fed Skyler around 8:30 and then he stayed up for a little while and then I put him down. He fussed for probably 4-5 minutes and then fell asleep. This was by far the least amount of crying. Then he usually wakes up for a feeding around 11 or 12...well last night he didn't wake up until almost 4 am! This gives me so much hope. Hopefully that will eventually stretch out until 6 am. I am so proud of him. I feel a million times better today than I have for a while. I actually got 5 1/2 hours of sleep in a row!

So glad things are going well! Things are going better here too...he's been so much less fussy the past two days. Maybe two months really was a turning point for him. The past week or so he's been sleeping until 4:30 or 5:00am and I agree, you feel so much better! Just an idea for you....I put Drew down some time between 8:00 and 9:30 (depending on when he's tired). Then I get him out of his crib at 10:30 and feed him while he's asleep. Then I put him back down (hoping he doesn't wake up) and he'll go until 5:00ish. That is the technique that BabyWise suggest and it worked wonders for Sage and seems to be working well for Drew too. :)

YEAH! I hate this stage where you have to try to get them to sleep by letting them cry. But in the end it is so much better, isn't it!!
